Recommended wind pressure packages for buildings greater than 3 stories (base pricing up to 10 openings):

  • Package #1 “DP Only”………………………$100 includes required wind pressures
  • Package #2 “DP Layout”……………………$150 includes required wind pressures, opening sizes, and footprint drawing of project
  • Package #3 “DP Approvals”………………..$175 includes “DP Layout” plus review & listing of the product approvals
  • Package #4 “DP Schedule”………………..$250 includes “DP Approvals” plus a detailed schedule of each product approval
  • Package #5 “DP Substrate”………………..$350 includes “DP Approvals” plus a substrate inspection

There is a $25 discount available for packages where the design pressures have been submitted via our Online Calculator.

NOTE: For projects located in Fort Lauderdale, the “DP Schedule” package is recommended. For projects located in Pompano Beach, the “DP Substrate” package is recommended. For all other municipalities, the “DP Approvals” package is recommended.

Inspection Fee Schedule, 2013

  • Inspection for Substrate with Report or Dimension Verification*……………………..$175
    *Dimension verification inspections are limited to noting in the calculations/drawings that Engineering Express has visited the job site and field verified.  This substrate inspection fee is discounted based on Engineering Express providing the design pressure calculations.
  • Field Inspections by Company Delegate (less than ~20 miles from office)…………$250 up to 1 hour + $125 each additional hour
  • Field Inspections by Company Delegate (~20 to ~60 miles from office)……………..$350 up to 1 hour + $125 each additional hour
  • Field Inspections by Company Delegate (more than ~60 miles from office)…………………………………Please Contact Office
  • Field Inspections, Meetings & Documentation by P.E. (travel not included & billed at same rate)…………$450/hour
